Post-Launch, Audiobook, and Production News!
Wow.
That’s really all I can muster at this stage of the game.
The overwhelming support I’ve had over the last several weeks leading up to and through Launch Day has been insane. I am so grateful to everyone who showed up either literally (yay TBR Books event!) or figuratively with good wishes and ongoing orders! Launch day was an absolute blast and all the stress leading up to it melted away once people showed up, mingled, and had fun.
I’ll share some pictures below for those of you that couldn’t make it out to the event. I am so grateful to Liana, Lolli, and the whole. TBR Books team in Claremont for opening their doors and letting me take over their shop for a few hours to host the event.
Not to bury the lede here, but I’ve tried to be a bit more active on Social Media so you might have seen my posts about this…but…
WE’RE LAUNCHING AN AUDIOBOOK!!
I say “WE” because I was so insanely lucky to have partnered with such a passionate (and outright crazy) creator named Luke James (@audiobookluke) who brought The Price of Creation to life.
It comes out on Halloween (10/31/26), so in about two weeks! I know that I personally dual-read (sometimes triple-read) between print and audio especially as I’m running errands and going to the gym.
I’ve added a link to the Audiobook preorder page at the top of the website but here’s the LINK as well. It would mean the world to me if you would help support a small indie author and his new internet best friend narrator!
One last note: the launch support for TPOC has been so wonderful! So much so that of my original inventory order, I’m down to the last 2 hardcover copies and 20 paperbacks! This is both a blessing and a curse because I am so excited that so many people have taken TPOC home but now I’ve got to backfill! This is wonderful because I have been in talks with a mass producer to bulk print the book so I’ll have plenty of inventory for all my upcoming market, faire, bookshop, coffeeshop, etc. events!
I’ll primarily be selling hardcover since that’s what I’ll be ordering from the provider. I am absolutely in love with the sample they sent of my book so I’ll be ready for future events.
Speaking of events…I’ll be at Comic Con Revolution 2027 in Ontario, CA as an Artist Alley vendor! Come check out the con and say hi!
